As the suspect, Steve Oscar Gongora, 52, homeless, was stopped, he discarded a small plastic baggie. The baggie contained methamphetamine. Further investigation, revealed possession of a stolen bicycle. Gongora was booked for felony possession of methamphetamine and possession of stolen property. Bail was set at $200,000.Note: Crime Watch is culled from reports provided by the Santa Monica Police Department. These are arrests only.
